We are so glad that you have decided to visit our website. Nadine and I (known to our grandchildren as Nana and DeyDey) are committed to raising the best tasting grass fed beef and pasture raised chicken and eggs in California! We are local ranchers and farm over 220 acres in the Santa Rita Hills just 6 miles west of Buellton, to feed our California Lowline cattle an all they can eat buffet of superior grasses. Our grass-fed beef is awesome in taste and tenderness - we guarantee it!
Our pasture-raised chickens delight in a
diet full of bugs and grasses. We also provide them with an organic
feed which contains the powerful properties of garlic, anise oil,
horseradish and juniper berry. Our egg-laying hens from which our
pasture-raised eggs come also eat all the delicious grass and bugs they
desire and are fed an organic-soy-free feed with the same powerful
properties as above.
The name for our business actually came
from our Granddaughter Paige. We had prepared some of our awesome
burgers for dinner and as she reached for her second burger, she
exclaimed, "DeyDey, you make the best beef ever." Nadine and I knew
right then and there that DeyDey's Best Beef Ever would be the name for
our enterprise.
Our beef, chicken, and eggs are a perfect addition to your healthy dietary choices for energy, vitality
and nutrients. It is lower in saturated fats (than the commercial
variety), high in protein and CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) - a known
health beneficial oil with antioxidants and anti-cancer properties and
high in Vitamins: A, E, and D, the fat soluble vitamins. There are No
hormones, No animal by-products, and No antibiotics used in our program.
Our animals are fed only the rich nutrient-dense foods that nature
intended and they also receive superior researched supplements depending
on animal type. The cows finish well on grass and you can taste the
difference. The pasture-raised chicken and eggs taste better than you
