Ranch Open House and You are Invited

11 - 3 p.m.
You are invited to experience the beautiful countryside, learn about our ranch operations and enjoy our juicy 100% grassfed burger. Come for the day and you can even visit some of the fine wineries in our area - the Santa Rita Hills.
Meet our staff as they talk about their part in the operation:
DeyDey (Rancher and Nana's General Gopher) will discuss the joys of ranching.
Crystal will discuss our breeding program and animal health and rotational grazing.
DeyDey will discuss our pasture raised chicken program and how it works environmentally with the beef production.
Adan will demonstrate our management intensive grazing (MIG) program for our cattle.
Tour the ranch by foot and/or take a hay ride, see our animals up close or from behind the fence. You will be able to view the cows chewing their cud, visit the chicken brooder where our baby chicks are housed, our organic pasture-raised broiler chickens in their field shelters, our pasture raised egg laying chickens in their egg mobile, and see MIG (Management Intensive Grazing) in action. We will even have a jumper for the kids to work off some of that excess energy they always seem to have.
Our juicy 100% Grassfed Beef Burgers will be served (along with a soda and chips). We will have 500 adult tickets available Please make your donation ($10 for adults and $5 for children under 12) for the event by clicking on Register Now. Profits from this event will support the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund, an organization whose mission it is to protect the small farmer in the political arena. Furthermore, these folks are totally committed to protecting consumer's food choices (i.e. fresh food directly purchased from the farm).
