Nana's Best Ever Filet Mignon
DeyDey's Best Ever Filet Mignon.
Filet is a very delicate piece of meat that must be treated gently. Defrost filets until they are at room temperature. Pat dry with paper towel.
Be sure to use sea salt and my preferred pepper is the Kirkland Brand Coarse Ground Malabar Black Pepper.
Heat pan as in the slider recipe and cook filet on all sides for one minute.
Take out of the pan immediately and let sit on the serving plates for one minute.
Serve with baked potato and steamed asparagus spears dipped in honey butter.
